Evie Rose Thornton
I am fascinated by landscapes, specifically Scottish coastlines where the land’s edge meets the sea. I collect visual information through en plein air drawings and paintings and use them as starting points, often amalgamating compositions and colours, and using memories from the day to inform the development of my paintings. This body of work is inspired by the epic coastlines and beaches of the East Coast of Scotland.
