Adele Burdon
After a career in Interior Architecture Adele moved back to her home town of Hexham where she still lives and brings up her family. After settling in Hexham she undertook several courses in various printmaking techniques, initially concentrating on Photo etching, and more recently monoprinting. Inspired by the luscious landscapes of Northumberland as well as her annual camper van trips exploring Europe and the rugged mountainous scenery, Adele creates textural, atmospheric, original prints. She continues to work from The Hearth at Horsley in the print studio developing her mono prints. Adele was awarded Founders Award at Printfest 2018.
