'It is written that snow is white'
November 18 - December 21, 2022
Twenty-four artists respond to A. Škėma's poem ‘Snow’.
The exhibition catalogue (38 pages) is available to purchase at the gallery or by mail. Please e-mail the gallery with you address for the payment link. A digital catalogue can be viewed HERE.
On Saturday, December 3rd, 10:00 there will be a seated event with the gallery curator Jurgita Galbraith, who will share more about Antanas Škema, his life and writing, and how this exhibition 'happened'. It is a free event, but due to limited seating, please register Eventbrite.

It is written that snow is white.
Angels' wings are from non-melting snow.
Into a farewell kiss,
Into permafrost death
and my own elderliness?
Who is my soulmate, who has never been born as he is eternally alive?
Where can I find him?
But that is meaningless.
Would I wish to lose him once I find him?
