Beachcombings (Fringe Festival 2019)
Helen Fryer is primarily a landscape artist, working with inks and soft chalk pastel. She draws inspiration from the west coast of Scotland, areas which have played a pivotal part in my upbringing and adult life. Helen has spent many hours walking, sailing, cycling and cross country skiing in all weathers. She has climbed all 284 Scottish Munros (mountains over 3000 feet) and has sailed extensively off the west coast of Scotland. Click HERE to see more.

Her work is raku fired with white crackle or flamed copper surfaces with added driftwood or other found objects. The pots are thrown or handbuilt with pieces of driftwood collected from the shores of the Clyde.
